Terms & EULA.
Our full End User License Agreement, plus the practical stuff that goes with it.
Agreement to terms
By downloading, installing, or otherwise using VoltClient, you acknowledge that you've read and agree to be bound by the terms below. If you disagree with any part of this agreement, do not use VoltClient.
1. Grant of license
You're given a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and revocable right to use VoltClient for your own use. A license key is tied to one account and isn't meant to be shared. This license does not transfer ownership of the software to you in any form, and we can terminate it for abuse, sharing, or chargebacks — you'll be told why if that happens.
2. Intellectual property
VoltClient, including its source code, design, and all associated assets, remains the sole property of its developers at all times. Nothing in this agreement grants you any ownership or intellectual property rights.
3. Information collected
Using VoltClient means you consent to the automatic collection of certain technical information, including but not limited to:
- Timestamps of usage sessions
- Device/system name
- Hardware ID (HWID)
See our Privacy page for more on how this is used.
4. Prohibited actions
While using VoltClient, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the software
- Distribute, sublicense, or sell copies of the client
- Employ the software for unlawful purposes or to harm others
5. No warranty
VoltClient is distributed on an "as-is" basis, with no guarantees of reliability, security, or fitness for any particular purpose. All usage is undertaken at your own risk. We fix real bugs when they're reported, but we don't guarantee it'll work perfectly with every server, every version, or every setup.
6. Use on third-party servers
VoltClient modifies how Minecraft behaves. That can carry real consequences on servers that don't allow it — read the rules of wherever you're playing. We're not responsible for bans or account actions taken by a third-party server.
7. Changes
These terms can change as the project does. By installing VoltClient, launching it, or using it in any capacity, you confirm your agreement to the terms above — continuing to use VoltClient after any future update to this agreement constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Anything material will also be announced in the Discord.
